For those who want to make film history...

Exotic locations, special effects, awesome cinematography and beautiful people. The film making industry is a battle zone and in the war for jobs, there are but few survivors.

Because everyone wants a piece of the excitement, securing movie jobs are highly competitive.  It's filled with people just like you.  People who are passionate about their craft and are willing to slug it out to land the plum roles like Director, Producer, Script Writer, Choreographer, Cinematographer, Set Designer, Special Effects Director and of course, Actor, or Actress.

You have to start from the bottom, and the pay will be low.  But when you're at the bottom, there's no way to go but up!  Entry level jobs include Extra, Grip, Intern, Production Assistant and more.  Each project is a wealth of opportunity to make connections.   Production jobs, studio jobs, and technical jobs?  Hiring for these are usually done through word-of-mouth so it's really important that you familiarize yourself with the people in the industry.

If you can't get one of those prized Hollywood jobs, go elsewhere.  Television broadcast jobs are abundant from everything to cartoons, news, sports, day time television, game shows, reality, sitcoms, drama and so so much more.  Not just that, more and more cable networks are producing their own movies.  So who knows where your film career will flourish?  If this is something you're truly passionate about, you'll keep on trucking until you're a legitimate part of the "Lights, Camera, Action!"
